Panel discussion: “Art – Market – Art” on March 30, 2023 in Berlin

On March 30, 2023 a well-attended panel discussion took place at the ESMT in Berlin on the topic: “Art – Market – Art: the relationship between art, society and commerce and commerce” on the occasion of the exhibition “lnspiring Painting” by Scharein in the former State Council building.

After an exciting keynote speech by the former Minister of State for Culture and Prof. Monika Grütters, a very lively discussion developed with really interesting and discussion with really interesting and knowledgeable people about the the field of tension between art and business as well as questions about art and commerce.

Scharein was joined by Monika Grütters MdB, Kristian Jarmuschek (Chairman of the Board, Bundesverband Deutscher Galerien und Kunsthändler e.V.) and Anja Kreß, Spokesperson Global Cultural Engagement of the Volkswagen Group. The Dr. Jens Weinmann, Program Director at ESMT Berlin, moderated the event.
