As
a child, I dreamed of becoming a goldsmith and an actor,
but never an artist! But the pastimes of drawing and paint
were second nature, day in, day out. Pleasure in and fascination
with detail began very early one.
Basic grids of squares, reduced to black and white, are
the distinguishing marks of my first phase of working as
an artist. Over five years, the most reduced planar constellations
became highly complex spatial objects.
