IN PROGRESS: HOW DOES A POINT COME TO THE PAINTING?
With the brush Isn’t it obvious!? Not quite, because
the planes of structure and color in my work emerge through
overlaid color gradients of hundreds of hues, toned down
to one another, dissected into thousands of hand-painted
points.
I really wish beholders would dare to just perceive my paintings
emotionally first, and then let themselves be guided. Art
should also amuse in some way – as my paintings do!
